Yes, if you have permission to update Areas, you can mark a room as Vacant which updates its occupancy and affects compliance-based task generation. Location managers and engineers with that permission can do this either during a visit by opening the Floorplan from the visit section header, tapping the room on the plan, and selecting Mark as Vacant in the footer, or by editing the room's occupancy in the Structures tab under Hierarchy view and setting its occupancy to Vacant.
Once a room is marked vacant, its occupancy sticks beyond the visit, so further recurring work will reflect that status and adjust accordingly. However, tasks already generated for the period before marking vacancy are not automatically removed and may still appear unless skipped or managed individually.
