Change the report colour to your company palette

This article explains how to change the report colour to match your organisation’s company palette in BriqSafe. It is intended for owners and administrators responsible for maintaining your organisation’s branding in the application.

Note

Required role: owner or admin

Set Your Organisation’s Branding Colour Palette

To apply your organisation's identity, including logo and brand colours, so they appear consistently in reports and emails, update your branding in the organisation settings.

  1. Go to Organisation Settings and select the My Organisations tab.
  2. Find the organisation you want to update and open its row.
  3. Click Edit to enter edit mode.
  4. Scroll to the Branding section, which appears only in edit mode between Description and Jurisdiction.
  5. Under Logo, upload a new image using the file selector or click Remove to clear the current logo. Note that only a single logo can be stored; uploading a new logo replaces the old one.
  6. Use the colour selector below the logo upload to pick your brand colour palette.
  7. Click Save. Your new logo and colour palette will apply immediately to any newly generated reports and emails.

Important: The logo upload uses a presigned URL valid for about five minutes, so upload the image promptly. Also, branding is set once at the organisation level and is not configurable within report presets.

Understand How Branding Affects Reports

Report branding, including the logo and colour palette, comes solely from the organisation’s branding settings. Report presets do not carry logo or colour settings and cannot override the organisation branding.

This means any report generated under your organisation will always apply the current organisation-level colour palette and logo.

Manage Report Presets and Preview Branding

Section Configuration screen in the BriqSafe web app allows configuring visibility, order, and content of report sections, with toggles to enable/disable sections and arrows to reorder them.
Organization Settings > Report Presets screen enables users to create and customize report generation presets, with a key action button labeled "Create Preset."

While report presets control the content and structure of reports, branding remains fixed to your organisation’s identity. To confirm how your branding appears on reports, you can preview a report preset before saving it.

  1. Go to Organisation Settings and click the Report Presets tab.
  2. Open an existing preset for editing or select Add Preset to create a new one.
  3. Configure the preset’s sections as needed.
  4. In the editor footer, click Generate Test Report.
  5. When the preview completes, click Open Report to review the report in a new browser tab. The preview reflects the present branding and section choices.

Note: Only owners and admins can manage report presets. Other roles will see an access denied message.
