Add structures to a location

This article explains how to add structures to a location in BriqSafe. It is intended for users responsible for setting up or updating building data within a location.

Adding Structures to a Location

Structures screen in the Residencial Serrano location allows managing building structures, with key actions including adding a new structure and editing or viewing details of existing ones via a dropdown menu.

Add a structure to define the building components of a location, which enables organizing areas under them.

  1. Open the location you want to modify.
  2. Select the Structures tab within the location's admin panel.
  3. Click to Add Structure.
  4. Fill in the following fields:
  • Name – provide the structure’s name.
  • Structure Type – select the type of building, such as Building or Warehouse.
  • Facility Type – choose the facility category, for example Hotel, Office, or School.
  • Optionally, set the Code, Construction Year, and Description.
  1. Submit the form by clicking Create Structure.

On creation, the system assigns a control regime automatically based on the structure and location’s jurisdiction. If you select a control regime manually, your choice takes priority over the automatic assignment.
