Add structures to a location

Use this procedure to add a building to an existing location and enter the information needed to organise its configuration.

Before You Get Started

The location must already exist before you can add a structure.

Add a structure

1. Open the location.
2. Select Structures.
3. Select Add Structure.
4. Enter a Structure Name.
5. Open the summary row and check Structure Type. It is set to Building.
6. Enter the relevant value in Facility Type.
7. Set Control Regime only if you want to override the automatic selection.
8. Enter any other relevant information.
9. Select Create Structure.

Structure information

Structure Name and Structure Type are required. The following fields are optional:

• Building Code
• BAG Identifier (Pand ID) for the Netherlands
• Catastro Reference for Spain
• Height (m)
• Construction Year
• Surface Area (m²)
• Number of Floors
• Description
• Automatic Job Execution

Control regime selection

The location and the selected Facility Type determine the automatic Control Regime selection. The control regime determines which compliance activities are generated.

If you set Control Regime manually, your choice applies only to that save. If you later change Facility Type without also setting Control Regime, the automatic selection replaces the manual choice.
