Add a QR code

This article explains how to add a QR code or barcode to an asset within BriqSafe. It is intended for users who manage assets and want to link them to physical labels for easy identification.

Adding a QR Code or Barcode to an Asset

Follow these steps to associate a QR code or barcode with an asset in BriqSafe.

1. Go to the Assets section from the main menu.
2. Select the asset you want to add a QR code or barcode to by clicking its name.
3. Click on the Edit button within the asset details view.
4. Locate the QR code / Barcode input field.
5. Enter the code value corresponding to the QR code or barcode label physically attached to the asset.
6. Click Save to update the asset with the new QR code or barcode information.

Once added, this code can be scanned during inspections or audits to quickly access the asset’s details in BriqSafe.
