This article explains how to quickly identify an asset by scanning its physical QR code label within the BriqSafe application. It is intended for users who need to view asset details, compliance status, and job history efficiently.

Scan a QR Code to Look Up an Asset

Use this process to instantly retrieve comprehensive information about an asset by scanning its QR code label.

  1. Open the BriqSafe application on your device.
  2. Select the Scan QR code feature from the main menu or toolbar.
  3. Point your device’s camera at the asset’s physical QR code label until the system recognizes the code.
  4. Once scanned, the application will automatically display the asset’s detailed information page.

View Asset Information

After scanning, review the following asset details to understand its status and history:

  • Asset details: Includes identification data and location information.
  • Compliance status: Shows the current compliance state of the asset.
  • Job history: Lists previous tasks, inspections, or maintenance activities associated with the asset.
