Dashboards and trend analysis

This article explains how to use dashboards and trend analysis in BriqSafe to monitor compliance across your portfolio. It is designed for users who want an overview of their sites, jobs, and compliance status at portfolio and site levels.

Note

Required role: Viewer

Accessing Your My BriqSafe Home Screen

Start by logging in on the web to access your personalised home screen.

  1. Log in on the web and you will land on My BriqSafe.
  2. The left column displays your job progress, including sections like Jump back in, Latest Reports, and upcoming visits.
  3. You can use the My BriqSafe link in the navigation to return to this home screen anytime.

Note: If onboarding is incomplete, you will be redirected to onboarding instead of the home screen. While your profile loads, a placeholder skeleton appears.

Using the Locations Map and Site Details

Visualise your sites geographically and drill into a location's details from the home screen on a desktop browser.

  1. On My BriqSafe, the locations map appears in the right column with a marker for each site.
  2. Click a site marker to open that location's detail page.

Note: The map is only available on desktop widths. It does not appear on tablet or mobile devices. Locations without a geocoded address will not display on the map. While loading, you'll see "Loading sites...".

Tracking Job Progress From the Home Screen

Quickly see how many jobs are completed and what is scheduled for today or tomorrow.

  1. On My BriqSafe, look at the progress indicator at the top of the left column.
  2. Use the toggle to switch between Today and Tomorrow views.

Note: If there are no jobs scheduled for the selected day, the indicator shows "No jobs scheduled for this day".

Opening Recent Reports Quickly

Access reports you have recently generated directly from the home screen.

  1. In My BriqSafe, find the Latest Reports section in the left column.
  2. Click a report to open its details.

Note: If no reports exist, the section shows "No reports yet". If loading a report fails, a retry option appears.

Scanning QR Codes On Site (Mobile)

Use the QR scanner to identify assets or devices quickly while on site.

  1. On the mobile app home screen, find the My Quick Actions section.
  2. Tap Scan QR to open the QR scanner.

Note: The Scan QR action is shown to all users. The Create Job action only appears if you have permission to create visits.

Understanding Your Visible Locations on the Home Screen

The home screen only shows locations that your account has permission to access.

  1. Open My BriqSafe. The locations map and site sections load your organisation’s sites and filter them by your access rights.
  2. Only permitted sites will appear.

Note: If permissions fail to load, an inline error with a retry option will show instead of an empty dashboard.

Using the Compliance Dashboard

The compliance dashboard offers portfolio-wide compliance analytics across three tabs.

  1. From the main navigation, open Dashboard. It opens to the Overview tab by default.
  2. Switch tabs using the pill tabs to view Overview, Job Summary, or Site Information.

Note: All roles with job reading permissions see the same three tabs with identical layouts; differences only exist in data scope based on site access.

Reading the Overview Tab

Dashboard Overview screen showing portfolio summary metrics and visual status indicators for risk assessments, job performance, technical recommendations, and job execution progress.

The Overview tab provides a high-level portfolio snapshot.

  1. On Overview, review the four key performance indicator (KPI) cards: Total Clients, Total Sites, Completed RAs (year-to-date), and Days to Report.
  2. Below these, examine the portfolio widgets: Subscription Portfolio, Risk Assessments, Job Performance & Results, Technical Recommendations, RA Status Pipeline, and Job Execution.
  3. Within Job Performance & Results, note the two donut charts side by side: one shows execution status (jobs Carried Out, Not Carried Out, Open) and the other shows compliance outcome (jobs Compliant, Non-Compliant, Followed Up).

Note: The Overview tab reflects your full accessible portfolio and does not have any filter bar.

Using the Job Summary Tab

Job Summary screen on the BriqSafe Dashboard displays the compliance status of tasks for all clients over the last 90 days, showing carried out, not carried out, and open tasks through charts and graphs.

Analyze job progress by category and drill down to specific sites and jobs.

  1. Switch to the Job Summary tab.
  2. Use the client dropdown to select a specific client or All Clients.
  3. Choose a time period from presets such as Last 30 days, This month, or This quarter. (Only Job Summary has a period filter.)
  4. Review the cards under By Category and By Site.
  5. Click a category card to drill into activity types, then into individual sites.
  6. At the deepest level (per-site), view the job table listing columns: Asset, Due Date, Status, Result, Completed, and Assignee.
  7. You can also switch the job table between performance and results views, and read the stat cards for job totals, completion rates, overdue counts, compliance rates, and follow-ups.
  8. Use Back to Overview to return to the tab’s main view.

Note: The individual job table and stat cards appear only at the deepest drill-down. Jobs awaiting a compliance result show a pending result rather than a compliance status.

Reviewing Sites on the Site Information Tab

Dashboard Site Information section provides an overview of implementation progress, assets, tech recommendations, risk assessments, and jobs with their statuses and categories.

Get a detailed view of site-level compliance, assets, and job statuses.

  1. Open the Site Information tab.
  2. Review the full-width Implementation Funnel showing sites progressing through setup, assessment, and operation.
  3. Examine the widget cards: Assets Summary, Technical Recommendations, Risk Assessments, and Jobs and Activities.
  4. Review the portfolio status donut chart summarizing site statuses.
  5. Optionally filter the view by client using the client dropdown.
  6. Click a segment of a widget’s chart (for example, a risk level in Risk Assessments) to open a filtered table with detailed rows.
  7. Use Back to Overview to return from a drilled table to the main widget grid.

Note: The Site Information tab has a client filter but no time period filter, and each widget’s detail table has its own columns. The portfolio status donut shows a sites status table separate from the other widgets.

Filtering Dashboard Data

Refine your dashboard views to focus on a single client or a specific period.

  1. On Job Summary or Site Information tabs, open the client dropdown to select a client or choose All Clients.
  2. On Job Summary, pick a period using the preset options.
  3. The widgets recalculate to reflect the selected scope.

Note: Only Client and Period filters are available. The Overview tab has no filters. Filters do not persist when you leave a tab. There are no free date-range or saved-preset filters.

Accessing Your Site Information on Mobile

View and manage your locations and job progress from the mobile home screen.

  1. Open the app or tap the Home tab to reach My BriqSafe.
  2. Scroll through fixed sections in this order: jobs progress, My Quick Actions, next visits, Jump back in, My Locations, and Latest Reports.
  3. Use pull-to-refresh to update all sections.
  4. Scroll to My Locations to see your sites and their status indicators.
  5. Tap a site card to open its details. Use Show more to see beyond the initial list.
  6. In My Quick Actions, tap Scan QR to open the QR scanner.
  7. From the Latest Reports section, tap a report to view or download it.
  8. Use the day selector at the top to switch job progress between Today and Tomorrow.

Note: Sections only appear if they have content or show an applicable empty state. For example, My Locations is hidden if you have no sites in scope. The day selector on job progress offers only today and tomorrow.

Understanding Dashboard Data Scope and Access

The dashboards show only data for sites your account is permitted to access.

  1. All dashboard tabs and widgets compute figures solely from your accessible sites.
  2. If a widget has no accessible data for the selected filters, it shows "No data available" or "No sites found for the selected filters" instead of an error.
  3. Users with no site access see zeroed or empty widgets but are not shown error messages.

Handling Account and Organisation States on the Home Screen

Occasionally, your home screen may show banners instead of your usual work sections.

  1. If your account is scheduled for deletion, an amber banner with a Restore account option appears.
  2. If no account is found, a Create account action is shown.
  3. If you have no active organisation, an amber banner prompts you to Sign out.

Note: These states replace all home screen content until addressed.
