Start a visit from the jobs section

Use this guide to open one of your assigned visits and review its jobs, including jobs grouped under floors and other areas.

Note

Required role: Viewer

Open an assigned visit

  1. Open the app and tap Visits.
  2. In My Visits, view one day at a time. Swipe left or right to change the day, or tap the calendar icon and select a date. On a tablet, use the columns headed Today, Tomorrow and the following weekday.
  3. Tap the visit you want to open.

The visit opens in sections by Area. Each card represents one asset, room, floor, system or building. A card can contain several jobs.

View the jobs for an area or floor

  1. Tap an area card, such as a floor, to open all jobs for that item on one screen.
  2. Review each job in its expandable panel. The first job still to do is expanded automatically.
  3. Tap a folded job panel to expand it.

Risk-assessment jobs, timed-flush jobs and Location-level jobs appear as single rows and open on their own screens.

Filter or search the visit jobs

  1. Open the job list and tap the filter icon.
  2. In Filters, narrow the list by Activity type or by Status.
  3. Select one or more status chips: Open, Completed, Overdue, Skipped, Not performed or Building closed.
  4. Tap Apply. To remove all filters, open Filters and tap Clear all.
  5. To find a specific job, tap the search icon and enter its name in the Search jobs... box.

Not performed and Building closed are set by the system. They show work that can no longer be acted on, rather than the next jobs to complete.

Use the visit when offline

Every visit shown in your list while you have a connection is cached automatically for offline use. You do not need to open each visit first.

If a visit was created elsewhere after you went offline, it does not reach your device. Pull the visit list to refresh while you still have a connection.
