Turn off email notifications

Use your notification settings to stop BriqSafe email notifications while keeping push or in-app inbox notifications available. These settings apply only to your own account.

Turn off all email notifications

1. Open Account Settings, then open My Settings.
2. Open the Notifications tab.
3. In the Email delivery card, select Off.
4. Select Save.

With Email delivery set to Off, all Email switches are greyed out and email notifications are not sent. Your topic choices are kept if you turn email delivery on again later.

Turn off email for selected topics

To keep some email notifications and disable others, change the Email switch for individual topics or sections.

1. Open Account Settings → My Settings → Notifications.
2. In the notification sections, turn off the Email switch for each topic you no longer want to receive by email. You can also use a section's master switch to change all topics in that section.
3. Select Save.

The Advanced email settings option can give a section its own email frequency. Available sections and topics can differ because they are provided by the server. Topics marked Required cannot be turned off.

Turn off daily or weekly summary emails

Summary emails have their own settings in the Summaries section.

1. Open My Settings → Notifications.
2. In the Summaries section, turn off the Email switch for Daily summary, Weekly summary, or both.
3. Select Save.

Summary emails are available only by email; they do not arrive as push notifications or inbox cards. The web app does not provide controls for their delivery time, weekday, or covered Locations.

Why notifications may still appear in your inbox

Turning off email does not remove the in-app inbox copy. Email, Push, and Inbox are separate channels, each with its own switch.

• Events such as Visit assigned, Visit reminders, Visit with incomplete Jobs, and Case events can use inbox, push, and email.
• Visit completed, risk assessment completed, Visit overdue, and report ready can use inbox and email. Their visible Push switch does not send a push notification.
• Technical recommendations created, manual override, and floor scan completed or failed use the inbox only. These topics show only an Inbox switch.

To stop an inbox notification, turn off its Inbox switch and select Save. Required topics remain locked on.
