Filter your job list during a visit

This article explains how to filter and sort your job list by activity type, status, room, or floor during a site visit in the BriqSafe mobile app. It is intended for field workers who want to work through large job lists efficiently while on-site.

Open Your Visit and Access the Job List

Start by opening today's assigned visit to load all its jobs before beginning work on-site.

1. Open the BriqSafe app.
2. Tap the Visits tab.
3. In My Visits, select the desired date by swiping left or right or tapping the calendar icon.
4. Tap the visit you want to work on; the job list will open, grouped by Area.
5. Tap any job to open its execution form.

Filter Jobs Within a Visit

Use filters to narrow your job list by activity type or status and find specific jobs quickly.

1. From the job list, tap the filter icon to open the Filters panel.
2. Filter jobs by Activity type by selecting one or more types as needed.
3. Filter jobs by Status using the chips: Open, Completed, Overdue, Skipped, Not performed, and Building closed.
4. Tap Apply to update the job list according to your selections.
5. To clear all filters and reset the job list, tap Clear all.

Note: The statuses Not performed and Building closed are set automatically by the system when the completion window closes or the building was shut. These filters show jobs that can no longer be acted on and are useful for explaining work gaps but not for finding your next job.

Search for a Specific Job

To find a job by name within the visit:

1. Tap the search icon in the job list.
2. Use the Search jobs... box to enter the job name.
3. Select the matching job from the search results.

Filter by Room or Floor

Use the job details to identify rooms and floors, then filter accordingly to focus on specific work areas.

1. Open a job to view its Info tab.
2. Note the Floor and Room details displayed.
3. Return to the job list and use the available filtering options to narrow jobs by these areas if your app version supports it (filtering by room or floor is accessed similarly to activity type and status).

Keep Working Offline

You can continue to work through the filtered job list even if connectivity is lost.

• The visit, job list, and job forms are cached automatically when you have a connection.
• Queued changes, such as completed jobs, photos, and status updates, save locally and upload once connectivity returns.
• Note that embedded web pages, like the Location jobs page accessed via overdue counts on the Location's structure cards, are not available offline.

Common Pitfalls When Filtering Jobs

• The Not performed and Building closed statuses represent jobs the system marks automatically based on scheduling and building access; they do not represent jobs you can complete.
• Use these filters to explain gaps or missing work but not to locate pending jobs.
• Make sure to refresh your visit list while connected to see any newly assigned visits or jobs created after you went offline.
• The Location jobs page is only available online and should not be relied on when working offline. Use the filtered job list for offline work instead.
