Mark an area as vacant

This article explains how to update an Area's occupancy status to Vacant in BriqSafe. This update allows the system to adjust compliance rules and generate necessary flushing jobs automatically. It is intended for users managing areas within the application.

Mark an Area as Vacant

Follow these steps to set an Area's occupancy status to Vacant so the system can manage flushing tasks accordingly.

  1. Log in to BriqSafe and navigate to the Areas section within the project management interface.
  2. Select the specific Area you want to update from the list.
  3. Click the Edit button to modify Area details.
  4. Locate the Occupancy status field in the Area details form.
  5. Set the Occupancy status to Vacant.
  6. Save your changes by clicking the Save button.

After completing these steps, BriqSafe will adjust the compliance rules for the Area and automatically schedule any required flushing jobs that correspond to a vacant status.
