Task overview

This article explains how to view and select locations, then start performing tasks once you are logged into BriqSafe. It is intended for all users who need to access their sites and begin on-site work using the web or mobile app.

Note

Required role: All

Signing in and Accessing Your Workspace

To start performing tasks, you first need to sign in to BriqSafe to reach your organisation's workspace.

  1. On the sign-in screen, enter your email and password, or use your social provider.
  2. On the web, you are taken directly to your workspace after signing in.
  3. On mobile, a browser window opens for sign-in and then returns you to the app with an active session.
  4. If you belong to multiple organisations, choose the one you want to work in from the organisation selector shown after signing in.

Note: On mobile, dismissing the sign-in browser before it finishes silently returns you to the initial screen. Wrong credentials prompt a retry error, while locked accounts show a lockout message.

Viewing Your Locations and Tasks on the Web

The web-based home screen, My BriqSafe, provides an overview of your sites and tasks once you sign in.

  1. Log in on the web to land on the My BriqSafe home screen.
  2. On a desktop-width browser, the right column displays a map showing your locations with individual markers.
  3. Click a marker to open the location’s detail page.
  4. Use the left column to view job progress, Jump back in, Latest Reports, and upcoming visits.

Note: The map is desktop-only and does not appear on tablets or mobile devices. Locations without geocoded addresses won't show on the map.

Using the Mobile Home Screen to Select Locations and Continue Tasks

The mobile app’s My BriqSafe home screen helps you quickly find locations and resume tasks.

  1. Open the mobile app or tap the Home tab to reach My BriqSafe.
  2. Scroll through the sections in order: jobs progress, My Quick Actions, next visits, Jump back in, My Locations, and Latest Reports.
  3. In My Locations, review site cards showing locations in your scope along with their status.
  4. Tap a location card to open that location’s detail and access associated jobs and visits.
  5. Use Jump back in to resume any in-progress risk assessments or visits if available.
  6. Pull down anywhere on the screen to refresh all sections.

Note: My Locations is hidden if you have no assigned sites. The order of sections is fixed and cannot be rearranged.

After selecting a location or visit, you can access its jobs and start tasks.
