Monitor assessment completeness

This article explains how to change an automatically calculated Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory result on an area, asset, or system within the BriqSafe application. It also describes what the manually overridden banner means and clarifies how the original calculated value is retained.

Required role: assessor

Manually Overriding an Automatically Calculated Result

You can manually change an assessment result on any area, asset, or system when the automatic calculation does not reflect your judgment.

  1. Navigate to the desired assessment screen for the relevant area, asset, or system.
  2. Locate the current result status, which will be either Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory as calculated by the system.
  3. Select the manual override option and choose the new result you want to assign.
  4. Confirm your change to update the result.

Understanding the Manually Overridden Banner

When you change the result manually, the system displays a banner indicating that the result has been manually overridden. This banner serves as a clear visual confirmation that the displayed result is different from the system’s original automatic calculation.

Retention of the Original Calculated Value

Although the result shown may be changed manually, the original calculated value is always kept within the application. This retained original value ensures that the initial automated assessment remains traceable and auditable even after manual amendments.
