Collect a counter-signature from the location representative

This article explains how to capture a counter-signature from the location representative alongside the engineer's signature within the app. This process is designed for engineers and service personnel who need to meet organisational compliance requirements by collecting a second signature during task completion.

Collecting a Counter-Signature from the Location Representative

Follow these steps to capture the location representative's signature in the app after the engineer has signed:

1. Complete the necessary task details as usual within the active task screen.
2. Tap Sign Off to open the signature capture interface.
3. Ask the engineer to provide their signature using the signature field and then confirm it by tapping Save Signature.
4. Next, present the device to the location representative and have them provide their signature in the counter-signature field.
5. Once the location representative has signed, tap Save Counter-Signature to record it.
6. Confirm that both signatures are displayed correctly on the review screen.
7. Tap Submit to complete the task with both signatures saved.

Verifying Signature Capture

After submitting, you can verify that both the engineer's and the location representative's signatures have been recorded by reviewing the task details in the Completed Tasks tab. Both signatures will be attached to the task record to satisfy compliance documentation requirements.
