Fill in responsibilities for tasks

Use the mobile risk assessment to assign people to the responsibility roles shown for a location. You can select an existing contact or create a new contact without leaving the assessment.

Before You Get Started

• You need assessment-edit and responsibility-assignment access.
• Creating a new contact requires an internet connection. This option is not available offline.

Assign a person to a responsibility role

1. Open the location's risk assessment in the mobile app.
2. Open the Location stage.
3. Tap the Responsibilities tab.
4. In the Responsible persons by role card, tap the role showing No contact assigned.
5. Select the responsible person from the picker.

Without responsibility-assignment access, the role cannot be opened. Without assessment-edit access, the picker opens but does not offer the option to create a new contact.

Create and assign a new contact

If the responsible person is not already in the contacts list, create the contact from the role picker.

1. Open the role showing No contact assigned.
2. In the picker, select Person, then select Create new contact.
3. Enter the person's Name, Email, Phone and Contact Type.
4. Where available, expand Certificate — optional and attach certificates.
5. Select Save. The contact is created and assigned to the role in one step.

Important limitations

• Phone can be left empty in this form. If you enter a number, use international format, such as +31 6 12345678.
• When offline, Create new contact is not offered. A form opened another way shows Connect to the internet to add a new contact and has no save action.
• If the contact is created but the assignment fails, the app shows Contact created, but could not be assigned. Select it to retry. Select the created contact from the picker instead of creating it again.
